Your Controls

Managing preferences

The login privacy prompt lets you accept all cookies, save your selected preference, or continue with essential cookies only. Elix records the selected preference so the product can respect your choice.

The privacy prompt may be shown again at least once per day, after a material policy change, or when browser storage is cleared. If your browser blocks cookies or storage, the prompt may appear more often and some secure features may not work correctly.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Elix uses cookies, local storage, session storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies in its web and mobile applications.

These technologies support sign-in, workspace routing, passkeys, secure sessions, privacy preferences, diagnostics, and product reliability across EHR, Lab, Supply Chain, Admin, Tenant, and other Elix workspaces.

2. Why Cookies Are Used

Elix uses cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in securely, route users to the correct workspace, protect accounts, remember selected preferences, monitor service health, and improve the platform.

Some cookies are required for the service to work. Optional analytics cookies are used only when permitted by your selected preference or by your organization configuration.

3. Healthcare and Operational Context

Elix supports healthcare, administrative, laboratory, billing, supply-chain, reporting, and onboarding workflows. Cookies are not intended to store the clinical record itself, but they may support secure access to workflows that contain sensitive information.

Your organization may apply additional policies, notices, retention rules, or regulatory obligations depending on its role, location, and configuration.

4. Local Storage and Similar Technologies

In addition to browser cookies, Elix may use local storage or session storage to remember privacy preferences, redirect reasons, onboarding flow state, temporary login notices, and safe product routing information.

Mobile applications may use secure device storage, push notification tokens, and app-specific storage to support authorized operational workflows.

5. Third-Party Services

Elix may rely on trusted infrastructure, authentication, observability, communication, analytics, payment, or integration providers to operate the platform.

When third-party tools are used, they are configured to support authorized platform purposes such as security, reliability, diagnostics, support, and customer-approved integrations.

6. Your Choices

You can accept all cookies, keep only essential cookies, or save a custom preference from the privacy settings prompt shown on the login page.

Your browser may also allow you to block, delete, or restrict cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, passkeys, workspace routing, or secure session features from working correctly.

7. Retention

Essential session cookies may expire when the browser session ends or after a defined security period. Preference and consent cookies may be retained longer so your choices can be remembered.

Elix may keep diagnostic and security logs for periods required to operate the service, investigate incidents, meet contractual obligations, and support compliance needs.

8. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect product changes, security requirements, customer configuration, legal requirements, or operational improvements.

When the policy changes materially, the effective date will be updated and the privacy settings prompt may be shown again.

Important Note

This policy is a public baseline for Elix applications. Customer-specific privacy terms, data processing agreements, clinical governance rules, facility policies, and local law may provide additional requirements.
